Description
Altair VRX is a controlled mechanical ventilation unit with high efficiency heat recovery, for residential applications.
Altair VRX is made with a self-supporting structure in sandwich panels, 23 mm thick, insulated in polyurethane foam, designed to be installed in a vertical position.
The unit is capable of efficiently changing the air in your home, while the enthalpy heat exchanger allows to recover sensible and latent energy from the air that would otherwise be lost.
The mechanical ventilation system for residential is available with standard setting or with regulation evolved that can be combined with optional sensors air quality (SN02) and (SN80) and humidity (SN16).

Compact ventilation system

Altair VR is realized with a self-supporting sandwich panels, 23 mm thickness, insulated with polyurethane foam.
The outer part of the structure is made of sheet metal gray color plastofilmata, while the internal part of the panels is Aluzinc (material that provides high resistance to corrosion).
The interior of Altair VR is expanded polypropylene, a material that ensures a high degree of thermal insulation between the air flows.
Access to filters, fans and the heat exchanger, is facilitated by the removable front panel that allows you to operate free from any obstacle.

Fans
To obtain a low noise and efficiency, the Altair unit will only use centrifugal fans with reverse blades combined with brushless EC motors with modulating signal 0: 10V. The synchronous electric motors BLDC (Brushless Direct Current) are characterized by a constant rotation speed independent of the load (or torque resistant) but linked to the frequency defined by the inverter. The synchronous brushless motor is "brushless" since current is not sent directly to the rotor but only to the stator, so there is the need to introduce sliding electrical contacts. The onboard microprocessor manages a signal (BEFM Back Electro Carrier Force) feedback that certifies whether or not the synchronous rotation of the rotor with the magnetic field and provide the possible torque corrections so that it is re-established / maintained synchronism and thus the maximum efficiency.
Wall user display
The display makes the unit is completely autonomous, allowing to perform all the operations of common use by the user (ON / OFF, the SET point setting, time programming, air replacement, etc.). It also shows the status of the unit and allows the development of advanced control parameters and configuration used during the starting phase. On display there are the temperature and humidity probes. For a correct reading of the ambient temperature and humidity, it is therefore essential that the display is placed away from drafts and heat sources, or locked in technical compartments.
High efficiency heat recovery
In a home, good ventilation is very important, but when the outside air temperature is significantly different from the inside air temperature, the exchange would involve a large amount of waste energy. The highly efficient counter-current heat recovery unit maximizes the exchange of energy between the incoming and outgoing air flows, allowing maximum energy recovery. The highly efficient heat recovery unit in polystyrene allows energy recoveries of over 90%.

Installation
The units are designed to be installed in a fixed position, it is equipped with a special bracket to be previously fixed to the wall, in a horizontal position, to which the unit can be hooked. Once the unit has been secured in the right position, make the connection to the ducting, the connection to the electrical network and the fixing of the condensate drain pipe on the lower side.
