Management of the heat pump
The heat pump is operated via the touch screen LCD (Figure below). Press anywhere on the screen to turn it on. When the screen is on, the display fields of the commands are active. After connection of the heat pump to the water mains and the electric one and with the tank full of water, the pump is ready for operation. The heat pump heats the water from the 10 65 ° C to ° C. Then 65 75 ° C to ° C, the water is heated by the electric resistance.

Operation with ambient air
In this type of operation, for heating of sanitary water, in addition to electricity, it is used the amount of energy taken from the air of the room where the device is installed.
The heat pump must be installed in a well-ventilated space where it does not freeze, preferably in close proximity to other heat sources. For optimum operation of the pump is recommended to place it in a large, well ventilated at a temperature between 15 25 ° C and ° C.
We must ensure an adequate flow of air inside the room and you have to install two elbows in 90 ° on top of the heat pump and turn them each in the opposite direction to prevent the mixing of air. Heat losses are greater in places with colder air.
In case the heat pump is installed in an unheated room and the temperature is less than 7 ° C, the pump operates in the normal way.
Operation with air from different premises
In this type of operation, the heat pump uses air also to other rooms through a system of ducts. It is recommended to isolate the system of ducts to prevent the formation of condensation.
In the case of suction of the outside air, the outside must be covered to prevent the intrusion of dust or snow inside the device. In addition to the resistance (due to friction) in the tubes and elbows, the user must be aware that also increases the noise level.
In the case of using outside air, you must comply with the minimum diameter of the pipes or 125x150 ø70 mm. For instructions on the design of the duct system, see the data sheet.
To ensure that the operation of the heat pump is effective at any time, you can install the vents, taking air from the premises, and then return it either inside or outside the premises.
If the air temperature will be under -7 ° C, for the heating of sanitary water will be inserted the electric resistances. The heat pump works in mode "reserve".
Installation
Installing heat pump Air Combo
Air Combo PRO is suitable for operation with outside air or ducted air of the indoor environment.
E 'can use it for shooting and the release of air through ducts side.

Choosing the installation site
The heat pump can be operated using ambient air or air sucked in from other rooms. Air Combo 100 PRO must be installed in a place where it does not freeze. When choosing the place, we must pay special attention to the place of suction air is free from dust as the dust affects the performance of the heat pump. Furthermore, we must pay attention also to the solidity of the wall which must be sufficiently sturdy to support the weight of the heat pump together with the weight of the water inside the boiler body. Take all necessary precautions to prevent noise caused during the operation, and vibration from being transferred through the walls of the rooms where they can cause a lot of noise (bedrooms, rest areas).
Do not install the heat pump and the air intake for its operation on the premises with other equipment - "consumers" of air (gas boilers, fireplaces, solid fuel, suction equipment, etc.). During installation, please keep in mind the minimum distance from the wall, floor and ceiling. The condensate from the heat pump is discharged through a plastic tube with an outside diameter of 18 mm located in the lower left side. This hose must be connected to the condensate discharge pipe external to be conducted to the sewer or into a container. The amount of condensate depends on the temperature of air and moisture during operation in heat pump.
To avoid depression in the building, fresh air must be regularly conducted inside. The desired degree of air exchange for a residential building is 0,5 / hour. This means that the entire quantity of air in the building is exchanged every two hours.
The connection of the heat pump in the same conduit as the range hood or exhaust vent to the most diverse small apartments or suites is not allowed.
Water connection Air Combo Pro
On the tubes of the heat pump the inlet and the water outlet are marked with colors. The cold water inlet is marked with blue color, and the output of hot water is marked with red. The heat pump is designed to be connected to the internal water without the use of the relief valve if the pressure in the supply network is less than 0,6 MPa (6 bar). If the pressure is higher, it is necessary to install the valve pressure reduction so as to provide that the pressure at the boiler inlet does not exceed the nominal pressure.
In order to ensure a correct operation is compulsory to install a safety valve on the supply pipe. The valve prevents the pressure inside the boiler increases for more than 0,1 MPa (1 bar) above its nominal pressure. The outlet nozzle on the safety valve must have an outlet into the atmosphere. To ensure proper operation of the safety valve, this must be checked regularly, to remove the limestone and check if it is blocked.
When you run the control, push the lever or unscrew the valve nut (depending on the type of valve) and open the drain valve safety. Water must flow from the nozzle - this means that the operation of the valve is good.
During the heating of the water, the water pressure in the hot water tank increases up to the preset level in the safety valve. Because the system prevents backflow of water into the water supply, the water may drip from the discharge opening of the safety valve. Dripping water can be discharged into the drain via a collection container which is mounted under the safety valve. The exhaust pipe, installed below the safety valve, must be directed downwards, and must be in an environment with a temperature above zero.
If the installation does not allow to drain the water dripping from the safety valve in the exhaust, the flow can be avoided by installing an expansion tank on the supply pipe of the heat pump.
