Planning
ECOfloor Slim is the radiant system in plasterboard panels of only 18 mm for the construction of ultra-low-profile dry floors. ECOfloor Silm panels are pre-shaped to house hydraulic circuits and can be equipped with insulating plates on the underside. The hydraulic circuits with PE-RT multilayer pipe with 12x1,3 mm diameter are placed directly in the traces of the panels to form the radiant coils. The reduced thickness of the radiant system gives it a reduced thermal inertia, guaranteeing a quicker set-up and a faster response to regulation, both in heating and cooling.

Components
PE-RT pipe
The pipe crossed by the heat transfer fluid is a key component of a heating system with radiant panels.
It must respond to numerous and stringent quality parameters to ensure good performance and long life: high levels of stress resistance of different nature must be guaranteed for at least 50 years with excellent safety margins.
The PE-RT pipe is a plastic pipe ideal for radiant surface systems, made with a special PE-RT resistant to high temperatures in compliance with Din 16833, in ethylene-octane copolymer.

The polymer structure is presented as a linear chain (ethylene) and the side chains of octane, producing a very durable material with excellent flexibility and durability.
The small diameter of the pipe in PE-RT, 12 mm, is ideal for its housing inside the milling of ECOFLOOR Slim panels and laying with small radii of curvature of the typical system. The limit in the development in length of the small diameter tube with circuits is exceeded with special Y-adapters that, in dividing the flow, do correspond to a single outlet to the manifold two radiating circuits.
ADVANTAGES
- Water resistant to oxygen;
- Small diameter ideal for low-thickness systems;
- High resistance to stess and injuries;
- Laying with small radii of curvature;

In this way it simplifies and speeds up the calibration operation of the circuit, without the need for reference graphs. The valve makes it possible to seal off the single circuit, in case of need.
return form
The return module is equipped with shut-off valves incorporated. By means of the shut-off valve with manual knob, the scope for the individual circuits can be reduced up to the complete closure of the same circuit.
The valves are designed for the application of an electric actuator, to make automatic on signal of a room thermostat.
Deposit port manifold
The cassette for accommodation of distribution collectors is the built-in type, designed to easily position the collectors of radiant systems.

Fittings Y-connection
By means of a special Y-joint it is possible to make two radiant circuits correspond to each output to the manifold: the joint has the function of dividing the flow rate over two circuits.
The use of joints allows to reduce installation costs and at the same time the dimensions of the manifold, while maintaining the functionality of the system.

The junction fittings are equipped with a bayonet terminal for connection to the pipe, according to a patented system.
The mechanical seal by means of tweezers positioned on the double O-ring ensures that the tube is not damaged.
The fluidic seal is guaranteed by the action of the double O-ring and the tube guide which maintains the circularity even in the presence of lateral loads.
In the event of checks or modifications to the system, the simple and univocal bayonet system allows considerable ease of disconnection.
- Ease of tube insertion
- No damage to the pipe
- Sealing Warranty fluidic
- Ease of disconnection.
Banda perimeter
The perimeter insulation tape is made of closed cell polyethylene, light raincoat, not decomposable and resistant to mold and high resistance to chemical attack and to alkaline reactions of concrete products.
The product is stable over time thanks to the compounds made by the extrusion of the polyethylene and the use of special glues. Both the polyethylene as the glues used are resistant to thermal shock.
The tape is ideal for the realization of underfloor heating-cooling.
Its position between the screed and all the structural elements with which it adjoins allows to absorb the expansion of the screed and to obtain a good thermal and acoustic insulation.
