Technical Information

A system of intelligent thermoregulation allows you to adapt the operation of air conditioning systems to the real needs of the user to ensure the highest level of comfort in the environment avoiding unnecessary waste of energy.
The most effective thermoregulation is certainly that made for each environment. The touch screen room thermostat Caleon identify the temperature / humidity levels in each room and adjusts the system room by room, based on the needs of the user.
The result is optimal management in both heating and cooling, without condensation.
Caleon is distinguished by the simple and intuitive management of schedules and temperatures through the touch screen display capacitive TFT coloured.
Available versions:
- Caleon: Heating (in combination with MHCC, LHCC or XHCC)
- Caleon Climate: Heating and cooling: (in combination with LHCC or XHCC)
Air conditioning by area
For each room you can choose between the 4 operating modes (Normal, ECO, Turbo, Off) and set custom profiles with schedules.
The user can instantly view the internal temperature and humidity as well as the outside temperature.
Furthermore, based on the external temperature detected on time by the integrated probe, the control unit modulates the flow temperature in the system.
Remote control
With the Caleon, the air conditioning system can be managed from a PC, smartphone or tablet via a dedicated App. Wherever he is, the user can monitor and manage his system, and in particular:
- View the operation
- Change the settings
- Monitor consumption
Even the technician can access the system remotely to perform system analysis in case of assistance.

Touch Screen easy to use
Caleon is a device of compact size with pleasing aesthetic that encompasses the latest generation of hi tech system. Even the schedules setting is simple and intuitive.
A multilingual menu allows you to set and display temperature and times individually and differentiated for each individual room.
The startup assistant is a valuable guide to easily set the desired parameters on the Caleon.
4 simple modes of operation
From the practical menu it is possible to quickly choose between the 4 operating modes (normal, eco, turbo, off) for each room and set customized profiles for time slots.
Furthermore, by means of the integrated temperature and humidity probes, the user obtains valuable information on the internal and external temperature and humidity conditions.

Fitting into a female plastic wall
Attach the base to flush-mounting box with screws (x 3.0 16).
And 'possible to mount the Caleon directly on the wall, without the adincasso box.
Direct mounting on the wall
Attach the bottom of the enclosure to the desired location and mark the three mounting holes. Make sure that the wall surface is as smooth as possible so that the controller is not deformed when fastening the screws. Using a drill with a 6 bit bit, make 2 holes in the marked points on the wall and insert the anchors.
Fix the base to the recessed box with screws (3.0 x 16). Align the casing and tighten the screws.

Strip the cables, remove the protective cover and remove the filling material if necessary
When mounting the base of the ° CALEON on the wall, the connection wires must be short enough. In case of direct mounting on the wall, a maximum length of 40mm is recommended. Wires that are too long inside the CALEON box can cause problems.
When mounting the base of the CALEON on the flush-mounted box, the connection wires must be short enough (the stripped cables must not be longer than 55 mm). Make sure that the cables inside the flush-mounted box are not too long to avoid problems.

Strip off the ends of the wires for ca. 8 - 9 mm.
Insulate the braid and connect it to the protective conductor of one device only.
Warning: any contact between the protective conductor and the printed circuit board may
create serious damage

Supply 12 VDC power supply, ensure correct polarity to avoid damage to the unit!
Open the terminals with the tool provided and make the electrical connections as described.
Reassemble the base and screw it on. Turn on the main switch to reconnect the power and start the CALEON.
The first and last unit of the CAN network in series must have terminating resistors.
Caleon installation variants
Installation in series, eg. with LHCC.
A maximum of two CALEONs can be powered through the control unit. All other CALEONs in the network must be powered through an external 12V power supply. The CALEONs are connected in series with a CAN bus cable.
The first and last unit in the series must have terminating resistors. The connection of the two CAN terminals is arbitrary As an option, the data logger can also be connected to the CAN bus.

Example of installation with MHCC (without 12V output) or with more than 2 CALEON connected to LHCC or XHCC.
The CALEONs are powered by separate 12V power supplies.
The CALEONs and the units are connected in series with the CAN bus cable.
