Description
Low cost solar collector
FKE is the new low cost solar panel: it's compact and economic , Made of high quality materials and cutting edge technology.
The FKE solar panel has a harp absorber with 4 connections. The hydraulic system makes it possible to connect five collectors in one row.
The accurate design and the technology of the materials used allow the FKE manifold to achieve high yields even in case of poor lighting.
FKE is certified Solar Keymark and this is a guarantee of quality for our customers.

FKE solar panel that absorbs much
The heart of the compact solar panel is the absorber harp that achieves high yields even in poor lighting, as in the case of the winter months.
The absorbers are manufactured with a special welding machine which ensures a resistant splice and of large surface area between the tube and foil allowing a good transfer of heat.
The use of a single material in the absorber prevents corrosion and thermal deformation.
The solar panel is easy to install
Il Solar collector economic FKE thanks to its flexible couplings can be installed with ease.
The connections between the collectors with flexible hydraulic compensators are very simple and economical since they require little manpower and less piping for the connections.
They can withstand strong stresses due, eg., To the foundations or movements of temperature and pressure fluctuations.
E 'can connect the manifolds and on the right side than on the left side,
and series you can install up to 5 collectors.
The solar panel FKE can be installed on a flat roof or tile with ease.
A powerful and durable structure
The innovative laser welding technology fuses the aluminum absorber plate to the copper hydraulic module. In this way the collector has a perfect and effective weld.
A good weld means better heat transfer.
The aluminum frame and the high strength of the glass seal EPDM rubber give the panel a high reliability in time against hail, snow and rain infiltration.
the FKE Features
FKE is a technologically advanced panel and studied in every little detail.
1- copper pipe with harp geometry
2- perimeter gasket high strength
3- Heat insulation (20mm sides 30mm back)
4- highly selective absorber
5- High strength aluminum frame
6- solar glass of 3,2mm
7- stress resistant connections
The perfect combination: solar thermal and pellet
The FKE solar panel can be combined with any generator and integrates perfectly with pellet stoves and boilers. These two technologies combined allow less expense and greater energy independence.
In winter: the solar system makes a thermal contribution to the boiler reducing its operation. In summer: the solar system produces domestic hot water avoiding the ignition of the boiler. Result:
- Lower consumption
- Better use of the boiler
- Greater freedom for the customer

Example of solar panel installation
FKE is simple to install and can be integrated with traditional systems and with those of the latest generation Rossato Group.
In this example, the solar thermal system is dedicated to production of domestic hot water. Solar panels give off heat to double coil storage tank.
The pellet boiler feeds the heating system with radiators and if necessary integrates the storage of domestic hot water. This plant solution offers the integration of several renewable sources in heating and in the production of domestic hot water, with significant energy savings.

Planning
The FKE solar thermal collector uses solar energy to heat a heat transfer fluid.
This mixture of water and glycol transports heat to the storage through an exchanger.
The recovered energy can be used to produce sanitary water or to integrate heating.

Temperature probe
Each panel has a well designed to insert a temperature probe, directly connected to the absorber.
If the panels are mounted correctly, the pit is always on the right. The temperature probe can be inserted in one of the manifolds of your choice, it must be inserted up to a maximum depth of 72mm and must be fixed well so that it does not slip out.
Depending on the measuring point absorber, the detected temperature can deviate from the average.
Units for up to 1 5 collectors on one row with alternating connection
M = flow (from collector to the storage tank)
R = return (from the puffer to the collector)
If mounted a device for venting, this should be positioned opposite to the attack of higher flow.
Link at the bottom left / top right
R = C / M = B
Upper connection to the left / bottom right
R = D / M = A Close connections not in use with the plugs.
Installation
Installation on tiled roof
The installation kit for solar panels on the roof FKE is divided into various types of fasteners
Installation of the rail panels for roof tiles
Curly patch panels of tiles
connection kit between the panels
In systems with installation of roof tile, the set of brackets supplied can be increased as needed.
Bracket kits are designed for single row mounting.
The clamp terminal should be fixed up to 20 cm away from the outer frame of the collector.
Mounting brackets on tile
completely covered with roof tiles
If the solar field is installed in regions with high snow load (over 2 kN / m2), you need to attach the brackets in the space around the rafter.
Determine the point where the bracket will be fixed, then lift the tile
(See p. 10 "distances up single row collector fields")
Attach a strip of wood to 24 measures x x 80 600 mm with two screws 5 60 x mm.
Do not install the strip if it ends up in the controasse space.
The strip must be positioned so that the bracket can be mounted at the lowest point of the tile.
Mount the underlay. Before assembly, cut a groove in the underlay.
The bracket should not be mounted on the tile to avoid breakage.
The groove created in the underlay will serve subsequently stuck to the bracket.
Attach a wood block measuring x 80 270 30 x mm and secure with two screws 5 x 60mm.
