Technical Information
XTDC-E is the control unit for the management of complex solar systems up to four tanks. And 'precise, intelligent and easy to use thanks to its pre-configured programs and especially thanks to the server for commissioning, particularly intuitive and clear.
The large easy to read display provides analysis of your plumbing and possible solutions to improve the comfort and energy savings.
- ethernet interface
- high-contrast display with intuitive graphical
- Multilingual menu
- Comfort function for fast heating
- CAN interface for Sorel Connect
- Data storage with statistics and graphic analysis
- control program for drainage arrangements (drain-back)

Manage your system remotely
Using a CAN-bus interface, the control units can communicate with each other, be connected to local networks or to the internet via ethernet.
The user can control your own solar and climate system remotely, Anywhere and at any time through the PC, tablet or smartphone.
The app dedicated Nabto that enables the ECU communication is available for iOS, Windows and Android systems.

Easy setup
In each unit there is the 'assistant for commissioning, A program that allows you to configure your system with maximum efficiency.
The setup wizard will guide you into operation quickly, according to a logical sequence through the settings required for proper operation.
Buttons are pressed, the information will be displayed on the display in the form of text or symbol.
integrated network interface
The XTDC-E control unit integrates an Ethernet interface to allow any device remote access to the system.

Installation
Easy installation of the solar control
The connection terminals are firmly bound to the bottom of the housing.
Before starting the unit, unplug the power supply and make sure that it does not go-around! Check the absence of power! The electrical connections can be made only by qualified personnel and in compliance with relevant regulations. Do not use the controller if the housing shows visible damage, eg., Cracks.
installation guide
1. Select the program / hydraulics see.
2. Open the cover of the terminal area
3. Uncover the cables by a maximum of 55 mm, fix the reinforcement bands, strip the last 8-9 mm of the wires
4. Open the terminals with a suitable screwdriver (figure 2) and connect the electrical system to the control unit.
5. Reattach the terminal block area cover and close with the screw.
6. Turn on the power and put the controller into operation.
assistant startup

The start help guide the user, in a logical sequence through the settings required for proper operation.
In this way, they avoid errors and the programming is simplified.

The display of the measured values and the operating conditions can be displayed in a graphic mode with animations.
Important functions are displayed as icons on the display.

For each day of the week can be set 3 operating time bands, so for each time slot may be of predetermined temperature settings.
Time periods can be copied and used on other days.

The self-explanatory menu enables simple parameter setting and explanation on the display.
Values can be set for both day and night use.

The control functions and system monitoring are possible due to the recording and analysis of data.
The curve is used to obtain a more comfortable temperature in different types of construction.
can bus link
The CAN bus can be used to connect two or more units among them or with the data logger to exchange data.

The control units are connected in series with the CAN bus cable.
The first and last control unit in this series connection must be equipped with a terminating resistor.
The connection of the two sockets CAN is at the discretion.
As an option, although the data logger can be connected to the CAN bus.
Schemes
hydraulic systems
The controller XTDC-E has preconfigured 48 basic systems with additional functions for dry contacts.

Accessories
PT series of probes 1000

The XTDC-E units are equipped with temperature probes PT1000. These are suitable to be used as environment sensors and external probes in to heating systems.
The use of this probe is shown especially in systems in which need high accuracy and stability and a high temperature range.
The temperature probes with PT1000 sensor elements guarantee detection accuracy in accordance with DIN EN60751 (IEC751). The sensors ensure precise acquisition of the temperature difference and optimal use of energy.
VFS flow and temperature sensor
The optional sensor VFS "Vortex flow sensor" measures the flow and temperature of the water returning the real-time information to the control unit.
It is used both in small and large systems thanks to the various sizes available ranging from a capacity of 2 400 liters per minute to liters per minute.
